CHANDIGARH: Prominent farmer leader of Punjab, President of Chandigarh State Unit of All India Jatt Mahasabha and National Delegate of Mahasabha S. Rajinder Singh Badheri has said that the present Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is working to implement the hidden agenda of not only the BJP but also the RSS and Jana Sangh in the country. Their main task now seems to be to separate Sikhs and Muslims from India but Sikhs and Muslims will not allow such moves to succeed.

Mr. Badheri said that ever since the Modi government came to power in the country, Muslims have been harassed without any reason in the name of Article 370 and triple talaq and now the farmers are being targeted. Now Sikh farmers are being portrayed as 'Khalistanis', 'terrorists' and so on. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) cases are now being deliberately filed against the agitating farmers as well; So that they can be harassed for a long time.

Mr. Badheri said that in fact, the Modi government now wants to separate Sikhs and Muslims from India by humiliating them.

He said that the government was now following the awkward policies of 'divide and rule' just like the British. "Who can forget the Godhra incident when Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat? The Muslims were beaten to death there.

Mr. Badheri said the Union government now only wants to implement the Hindutva agenda of the BJP and the RSS. But Hindus, Muslims, Christians and other Indian citizens belonging to minorities will not allow such agendas of the Modi government to be implemented under any circumstances.

Mr. Badheri further said that Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs and Christians of the country all want to live together but a deliberate rift being created among them for narrow interests - such moves could prove fatal for the country.
