CHANDIGARH: The process to fill Junior Draftsman (Civil, Mechanical and Architectural) posts in various departments of Punjab Government initiated.
Divulging the details, Chairman of Subordinate Services Selection Board Raman Bahl informed that the eligible candidates can apply online between 8-07-2021 to 22-07-2021 till 5 pm for 659 posts of Junior Draftsman (Civil, Mechanical and Architectural).
Mr. Bahl said that the Board had sought applications for 547 posts of Junior Draftsmen (Civil, Mechanical and Architectural) through advertisement No. 2 of 2021 issued on 15-01-2021 for the posts of Draftsmen under direct recruitment Scheme. Pertinently Several highly qualified candidates had filed various writ petitions in Punjab and Haryana High Court and sought to consider highly qualified candidates as eligible for these posts. After getting approval from concerned departments, the Board has allowed candidates with higher education to apply.
The Chairman apprised that the Board has withdrawn advertisement No. 2 of 2021 issued on 15-01-2021 through a public notice on 30.06.2021. Now applications have been invited again through advertisement No. 12 of 2021. He also clarified that as per the earlier advertisement, the candidates who had applied will now only have to update their profile with their login password and there is no need to repay the fee.
Mr. Bahl said that the process to fill these posts would be accomplished soon by the board.
