AMRITSAR: Leaders of different religions today paid obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib and conveyed the message of world peace while wishing for the good of all.

Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib welcomed the leaders who arrived at Sri Darbar Sahib.
Speaking to reporters on this occasion, Brahm Kumari Hussain said that we are all children of one God. Guru Nanak Sahib was the first to unite all religions in the world. Father Norbit of the Christian faith said that Christians and Sikhs are believers in one God. There was also a message from the Vatican on the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Sahib. Sikhs and Christians together can take the country on the path of unity. It is necessary to help the needy to uplift the society.

Speaking to reporters on this occasion, Giani Harpreet Singh said that the purpose of bringing all these religious leaders to Sri Darbar Sahib is to make the world aware of the rich traditions of Sikhism. Today, a narrative is being created against Sikhs at the international level. We have told the leaders of all religions that Sri Darbar Sahib is a common place for all religions. We are not temple attacking hooligans but people who respect everyone. Raise our voice around the world.

On this occasion Ling Rim Poche Buddhist Dharma Guru (Dharamshala) Umer Ahmad Ilaysi Chief Imam of India, Swami Chitananda Saraswati Ji Paramarth Niketan Rishikesh, Acharya Lokesh Munni Jain, Jain Mukh, Yokov Nagin Jewish Leader Israel, Brahm Kumari Sister Hussain, Dr. Hermann Nobert, Christian leader etc. were present.
