AMRITSAR: The government of Chief Minister Punjab Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to provide basic facilities to the people and under the same chain is providing free health facilities, quality education , free electricity to the people as well as employment to the youth and so far 47000 in the state. More than 100, 000 people have been provided government jobs based on merit.
These words were expressed by Mr. Inderbir Singh Nijhar MLA Halaka Dakshin today while inaugurating the Nature Awareness Park Sultanwind built by Forest Department Amritsar while dedicating the park to the people. MLA Nijhar while appreciating the nature awareness created by the forest department said that efforts are being made continuously by the forest department to preserve the environment, in the continuity of which this park has been created by the forest department and given as a gift to the people. He said that earlier there were deep pits at this place and some mischievous elements often used to sit here due to which people did not come out of their houses. He said that with the construction of this park, people will freely walk here in the morning and evening.
Dr. Nijhar said that different types of traditional fruit trees and ornamental palm trees have been planted in this park by the Forest Department at a cost of approximately 27 lakh rupees. Dr. Nijhar said that the development works are going on in each ward of Halka Dakshini. He said that the people of South Constituency will not be allowed any kind of trouble.
On this occasion, Mr. Amanit Singh , IF:S , Forest Division Officer Amritsar , Mr. Sukhwinder Singh Chauhan Forest Range Officer Amritsar -2, Mr. Nirmal Singh Forest Incharge , Mr. Tarsem Singh Forest Guard Incharge Kot Mitt Singh , Mr. Navneet Kumar , Mr. Manmeet Apart from Singh, a large number of other residents were present.
