Center government deliberately creating trouble for the farmers of Punjab in the purchase of paddy: Dhaliwal

AJNALA: Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, while reviewing the purchase of paddy in the grain markets of Ajnala constituency, accused the central government that the central government deliberately caused difficulties to the farmers of Punjab in the purchase of paddy by not emptying the warehouses and shellers on time.

He said that Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, Chief Secretary, Food Supply Minister and his secretaries were continuously clamoring for the last four months with the central government to make arrangements for storage of paddy but the central government deliberately ignored them. Heard and today there is a big problem in paddy lifting.

Talking about Ajnala, he said that most of the farmers in Ajnala cultivate Basmati and Basmati is purchased by private traders, so there is no problem in the purchase of paddy, which is very little, but in other parts of Punjab.

At present, there is a problem of lifting, which teams are continuously working under the leadership of the Chief Minister to remove. He said that we will not allow any party to loot farmers, traders or sailors.

On this occasion, Dhaliwal also announced the installation of five new seeds in the markets of Ajnala, Awan and Chamyari on the demand of farmers. He said that with this shed, the yield of the farmers will not be damaged and it will be easier to protect the rainwater.

On this occasion, Khushpal Singh Dhaliwal, Chairman Market Committee Baldev Singh, Secretary Sahib Singh Randhawa, AFSO. Sandeep Singh, Aarti Satbir Singh Sandhu, Harinder Singh Shah, Manjit Singh Bath, Warehouse Inspector Hardwinder Singh were also present.
