MOHALI: The members of the Governing Body of Mohali Press Club today paid a courtesy call on the new Chief Secretary (CS) of Punjab, K.A.P. Sinha.
Club President Sukhdev Singh Patwari while congratulating CS recollected his association when Mr Sinha was an SDM. Mr Patwari himself had been in the profession of journalism for over four decades.
Welcoming the Club delegation Mr Sinha offerred them all help in acting as a bridge between the government and the masses. He assured the members of prompt action on all issues brought to his notice by them through print and electronic media.
Later the journalists also called on some other senior bureaucrats to create a rapport and two way communication.
The delegation included included Gurmeet Singh (Gen Sec), Sushil Garcha (Sr Vice. President), Manjit Singh Chana (Cashier), Vijay Kumar, (Vice President), Neelam Thakur (Joint Secretary) and Maya Ram besides club member, Rajinder S Taggar.
