NURMAHAL: Punjab chief minister Captain Amrindar Singh on Thursday virtually inaugurated newly constructed building of Bilga police station.
Phillaur superintendent of police Suhel Mir welcomed prominent citizens assembled on this occasion. Station House Officer Sikandar Singh Virk and his force were present.
Suhel Mir said in a press release that Bilga was earlier a police post of Nurmahal police station and was accorded a status of police station in 2001.
He said that the Punjab police housing corporation has constructed new three story building at a cost of Rs 1.66 cores.
