Aujla met Nitin Gadkari, Work on Loharaka Road Bridge may start soon

AMRITSAR: MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla met Road Transport and Highway Minister Nitin Gadkari in Delhi. During this, the stalled constructions in the city and speeding up the highway projects were discussed in detail. Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that discussions will also be held with the state government to complete the projects as soon as possible.

Giving information after meeting Nitin Gadkari, Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that the stalled work of the bridge under construction on Loharaka Road was discussed in detail with the Highway Minister and he was asked to start it as soon as possible. The delayed work of Raiya Bridge was also discussed. After giving detailed information about these two bridges, the Highway Minister assured to start and complete the work soon.

Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that in this important meeting, the slow process of land acquisition by the state government for highway projects was also discussed and it was said that this process should be completed as soon as possible so that the highway work is also completed soon and people get relief. Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that a meeting will be held with the Chief Minister of Punjab Government and the PWD Minister to speed up the slow process of land acquisition so that the process of land acquisition is completed quickly to speed up the highway projects.

Apart from this, many new projects were also discussed which will make Guru Nagri more approachable and provide relief to the tourists as well as the residents. During this time, MP Sukhjinder Singh Ranghawa was also present with him.
