CHANDIGARH: In a major boost for the BJP in Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party’s candidate in the 2022 assembly elections from Gidderbaha, Chairman Market Committee Gidderbaha and former president of the District Bar Association Pritpal Sharma joined BJP today in Chandigarh in the presence of Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu, State General Secretary BJP Punjab Anil Sarin and State Media Head BJP Punjab Vineet Joshi.
Prominent AAP leaders of Gidderbaha who joined BJP along with Pritpal Sharma are Block President Maninderjit Singh, Incharge SC wing Harjinder Singh, Media Incharge Amritpl Singh, Block President Harcharan Singh Doda, Ex Sarpanch Adv. Dharampal Dharmi, Ram Lal Sharma, Kewal Krishan Sharma, and District Secretary of Youth Wing AAP Mukatsar Sarbjeet Sharma.
Ravneet Singh Bittu said the exodus of leaders from other parties to the saffron fold highlights the palpable undercurrent in favor of the BJP in Punjab.
