AMRITSAR: Restoration of independent, autonomous and sectarian status of Shiromani Gurdwara Managing Committee on the war representative of the Sikh world. History is a witness to the fact that after Shiromani Gurdwara Managing Committee Shiromani Akali Dal came into existence as its volunteer core to liberate the Gurdwara Sahiban from the clutches of Mahants. For almost half a century, the Shiromani Committee has been leading the Sikh Panth in the religious, political and social spheres. But over the past few decades, the opposite has happened that the Shiromani Committee has suffered a tremendous loss of its independent, autonomous and sectarian entity.
Bibi Jagir Kaur former President ShiromNI Gurdwara Parbandhak committee in her post on facebook page said that “My first promise to the Sikh Panth is that the independent, autonomous and religious status of this great organization will be restored in the form of getting service.
Shomani Committee is a representative organization of Panth. This work and role is to create an environment and platform for Panthak unity by running it as a representative organization in the right way.
On some common national issues, such as the issue of release of captive Singhs, bringing together different Sikh parties despite political differences. For this work, non-political but prominent Sikh personalities and activists should also be included in these efforts.
Guarding the Sikh-less Maryada approved by Sri Akal Takht Sahib so that the powers that create conflict in the Panth can be repelled.
The supremacy of the post of Shri Akal Takht Sahib Ji and his Jathedar Sahib cannot be practically established until firm rules are made regarding appointment, service rules and removal of the post of its Jathedar. Many years ago, Sri Akal Takht Sahib also ordered the Shiromani Gurdwara Managing Committee in this regard, but no particular step was taken by the Shiromani Committee in this regard. Without this, Sri Akal Takht Sahib also instructed the Shiromani Committee to start its own TV or web channel for live telecast of Gurbani Kirtan in Sri Darbar Sahib, but nothing was done by the Shiromani committee in this regard. It is the primary duty of Shiromani Gurdwara Managing Committee to implement every order and order of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Ji in the Sikh world, but it is a pity that Shiromani Committee itself is bringing down the supreme power of Sri Akal Takth Sahib Ji by not following these orders.

By doing the appointment, service-regulation and removal of Jathedar Sahib of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and other Takht Sahiban, such a procedure will be made in accordance with which Jathedar Saibans can perform their duties without any control and pressure. Similarly, immediately following the order made regarding the broadcast of Gurbani Kirtan from Sri Darbar Sahib, such arrangements will be made on which there will be no permission from any party.
In the last few years, the distance between the Shiromani Committee and the scholars of the Panth has increased. The criticism of the work of Shiromani Committee by many scholars should not be taken as opposition to the committee, in fact, this criticism was also made by many and is still being done by standing in the midst of sectarianism.
It will be my effort to reach out to these amiable scholars and intellectuals with sectarian thinking to use their capacity and capacity of Shiromani Committee to address the issues facing the community to move towards achieving results. Even if a scholar has criticized my caste before, it will not be a hindrance to approach them for sectarian activities because I will have to support them not for my privacy, but for national interests.
Preservation of Sikh historical heritage.
Already a lot of Sikh heritage has been lost but as the President of Shiromani Committee, I will try my best to preserve the remaining landmarks and heritage of Sikh history to the maximum original form.
The Shiromani Committee will also create a Sikh Heritage Commission for this work.
When we read the history of establishment of Shiromani Akali Dal on Shiromani Committee but it is very clear that the Akali Dal was established as a security fence around Shiromani Committee and was done to support it. Anyway there is superiority of religion in the combination of Miri Piri so that politics can run according to religion and be justice. Only religion-driven politics can fulfill the purpose of the protection of the poor and the hunger of the fetus. My attempt will be that in this combination of religion and politics there should be superiority of religion, politics should run according to religion and not religion should run according to political needs.
Although the scope of the arrangements of Shiromani Committee has narrowed down after the recent decision of Supreme Court, but my attempt will be to make Shiromani Committee actually a representative organization of the entire Panth, Gurudwara Managing Committees abroad and other states of the country, Gurudwara Committees in Punjab And by coordinating with major Sikh institutions, they should also be brought along with the Shiromani Committee to not only create better coordination within the Panth but also to rise as a joint Panthak Shakti.
The Shiromani Committee has printed and distributed quite a lot of important Sikh literature in which not only books were made available at cost prices but also a lot of free literature was distributed. But in the last few years many important publications are either not being republished or republished. The big hustle didn't kill to be massively raised. With the advice of scholars, efforts will be made to promote and disseminate important books and booklets already published in other languages by the Shiromani Committee.
Digital tools/platforms will also be used properly for this work. It was very well expressed during the Farmer's movement that non-Sikhs can have an attraction towards Sikhs and Sikh ideals. There is a longing in the people for Sikhs and the Sikhs to know about Sikhs. This longing in the people will be reached through the source of important Sikh literature.
Apart from the Gurdwara arrangement, the main purpose of the Shiromani Committee is religious propaganda, special attention will be given to this. In addition to traditional methods, the use of technical methods will also be increased. This movement will be given a big boost by coordinating with other campaigners of Shiromani Committee besides its own campaigners.
The Shiromani Committee's various service functions such as education and health will be consulted and services of Sikhs who have made significant contributions in various sectors.
In addition to raising a capable voice for the protection of human rights, coordination will also be maintained with the lawyers and activists already working in the field.
From Sauda Sadh's 2007 swang-making case to defamation cases, whatever role required of Shiromani Committee to play, will be ensured.
This role could be of its own initiative and of worthy support and cooperation of the already fighting Gursikhs.
Apart from the Gurdwara arrangement, the main aim of the Shiromani Committee is religious propaganda, special attention will be given to this.
