KAPURTHALA:The Department of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare has organized 12 field exhibitions in different villages of Sultanpur Lodhi tehsil.
Manjinder Singh and Harjot Singh, Agricultural Technology Manager said that under the guidance of Nazar Singh, Chief Agriculture Officer, Kapurthala, Jasbir Singh, Agriculture Officer, Sultanpur, Lodhi, they have been inspecting the field exhibitions from time to time. The problems could be identified and necessary improvements could be made by disseminating these feedback to the research centers. The attack of Chhedak Sundi is being continuously monitored and in case of any attack, it is being brought to the notice of higher authorities. Theye said that the Department of Agriculture had not recommended the use of granular pesticides being sold in the name of high fermentation in paddy so granular pesticides should not be used in paPPPddy.
