MOHALI: Student Inderdeep Singh of 2024 batch of University School of Animation, Art and Design, Rayat Bahra University, has secured an international project and client within three months of his education and training at Rayat Bahra University.
The client is a US-based trucking company which gave the complete social media ad campaign, including graphic and video ads, to him. Putting his dedication and hard work into this job, Inderdeep delivered it single handedly within the deadline given.
Although at this stage of career getting a break and acceptance by international industry is the prime motivation, the student was also paid handsomely for this project.
Under the patronage of Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra and Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh the University's slogan of "earn while you learn" is coming true.
The RBU School of Animation, Art and Design is India's pioneer in starting AI- Enabled Animation and Design programmes.
In this project Inderdeep showcased apt usage of AI technology in creation of this visual communication of professional quality in stunningly short time.
"The best part I found here was the highly developed practical approach and methods to teach design. And I think no other University or Institute in India is embracing AI technology as fast as I witness here." Inderdeep said.
The driving force behind these programmes is renowned Animation and Design Educator of the Country - Parminder Singh Roobal who is heading the Animation and Design school at the University. "The key to such abnormal results and success is the methodologies adopted at the school that includes the Deliberate Practice method advocated by Anders Ericsson and the Method Art techniques of Kimon Nicolaides. On top of all is the progressive attitude towards AI tools at the School.", he said.
