AMRITSAR: Bavya Health Services Pvt. Ltd. organized placement drive at Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (KCVAS), Amritsar. The company approached the college for recruitment of passing out/fresh veterinary doctors under the Mobile Veterinary Unit Programme in 537 blocks of Bihar state. The company offered Rs. 65, 000/- p.m. salary to the veterinary doctors with other facilities like a vehicle, support staff viz para vet, driver etc. and along with proper adhering to good quality government type service conditions.
It is important to mention that veterinarians will be appointed as ‘Mobile Veterinary Officer’ & they will cover two villages under the block to treat sick animals. Further, they are having similar projects in Chhattisgarh and Haryana where 200 veterinarians are working. It is a win win situation for the vets, after completing the degree they will immediately get appointment letter.

Ltd. coming from Patna for the placement drive & giving the opportunity for KCVAS students to join this programme. The students showed enthusiasm and interest. It is a Central Government project for providing the veterinary health services to the farmers in rural area under Mobile Veterinary Unit Project.
