Doaba College of Education organizes 7-day NSS camp

MANSA: Doaba College of Education organized a 7-day NSS camp. The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp by the members of the managing committee, Dean of the Student Welfare Department Mrs. Moninder Pal and Secretary Establishment Madam Manju Sharma. Principal of Doaba College of Education Dr. Sukhjinder Singh and NSS Program Officer Shri Vijay Kumar delivered motivational speeches, emphasizing the importance of students' contribution to the National Service Scheme.

During the 7-day camp, 50 NSS volunteers participated in various activities, including orientation on NSS program, spreading voting awareness, visit to Prabha Asra (Old Age Home), Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Teach Every One, spreading health awareness, disaster management, organizing a campaign against social evils, spreading awareness about road safety rules, traffic rules and sanitation, etc.

During this, a rally was organized on February 13, 2025. In which Shri Vijay Kumar delivered a valedictory speech. The Principal of DCE congratulated all the NSS volunteers for the success in the camp and distributed prizes to the best volunteers. Volunteers Taruna, Gurmehak and Navjot presented the 7-day progress report. The farewell ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.

The 7-day NSS camp was a huge success, with 50 volunteers actively participating in various activities. The aim of the camp was to instill social responsibility, civic engagement and national integration among the volunteers. The success of the camp is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the volunteers, organizers and guests.
