CLTA, CHANDIGARH:Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association has organized VERKA CLTA-AITA National Ranking Tennis Championship for Men’s (Rs.1 Lakh prize money) from 5th to 9th September, 2022 sponsored by VERKA (MILKFED, PUNJAB).
Singles:
Top seed Ishaque Eqbal win Men’s singles title in CLTA-AITA National Ranking Tennis Championship for Men’s (Rs.1 Lakh prize money). Ishaque Eqbal of West Bengal defeated Dalwinder Singh of Punjab in straight sets 6-1, 3-1 (conceded). Ishaque Eqbal played in a top form and he played consistently throughout the match. Ishaque Eqbal took the 1st set easily by conceding only one game without getting much pressure. In the 2nd set Ishaque Eqbal maintained his momentum and leads 3-1 up, Dalwinder Singh conceded the match due to his back injury.
S Harminder Singh Sandhu, General Manager, VERKA was Chief Guest and Ms. Ritu Dubey, Manager Marketing, VERKA, Dr. Reet Mahinder Singh, Member Executive Committee, Mr. Megh Raj, IAS (Retd.), Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Y.
