KAITHAL: Three accused have been arrested by the Economic Cell in the case of cheating of Rs 20 lakh in the name of getting youth a job. According to the complaint of Dinesh, a resident of Barta, he wanted his younger brother to get a job. Regarding this he had a conversation with Seva Singh, a resident of Barta. Seva Singh told that he has acquaintance with the officials of Haryana Skill Employment Corporation.
He will get him and his brother jobs under Haryana Skill Employment. Later Seva introduced him to Vikram, Sanjeev, Nancy, Jaspal and Gurmeet Kundu. The accused took an amount of Rs 20 lakh from him on different dates in the name of getting him a job and assured that he would get the job soon. When he did not get the job despite repeated assurances, he asked the accused to return back his money, but the accused refused to give the amount. A case was registered in this regard in Sadar police station.
While investigating the case, the team of ASI Randhir Singh, led by Economic Cell in-charge Chandrabhan, arrested Sanjeev, resident of Kyodak, Jaspal, resident of Sanghan and Mohit, resident of village Jheel in Jind district. Police remand of the accused has been obtained from the court till December 30.
