KAITHAL: The residents of village Mohna of this district met the Superintendent of Police today to demand the son's release from the kidnappers . Village resident Kuldeep told that his son Yuvraj was sent abroad in October by a travel agents.
The agents said that they will send Yuvraj to America in a legal way. After coming to the agent, I handed other documents and finalised a deal for Rs 41 lakh with them. It was also settled that the amount will be paid when the his son reaches destination.
Meanwhile, Kuldip said that the agents also took 14 Lakh rupees by trapping Yuvraj on the way. Now US $ 20000 has been demanded by kidnappers. When I told the agent the whole matter, the agent said that you will have to pay this money.
Once again, we paid Rs 8 lakh to travel agents. All this happened till December 2024. Now during last three months he has no contact with his son Yuvraj Kuldeep told that his son did not reach America, and after kidnapping his son they had kept him in Guatemala .
Meanwhile kidnappers have reportedly released a video in which they are seen torturing Yuvraj to extort money from his family. DSP Gurvinder Singh said that Kuldeep has given a complaint against the agents. Whatever legal action is needed will be initiated against the travel agents and after investigation efforts will be made to ensure release of kidnapped youth.
