KAITHAL: As per the orders of SP Rajesh Kalia, people who are careless towards traffic rules are being monitored and challans are being issued along with making them aware.

The police is running a special campaign and keeping a close watch on the drivers driving Bullet motorcycles with modified silencers that emit the sound of firecrackers. Giving information, police spokesperson said that under the leadership of Traffic Station SHO SI Rajkumar, challans were issued against 6 bullet bikes in Pehowa Chowk Kaithal and Pundrion Tuesday Challans of Rs 22, 000 each were issued to two bikes and a challan of Rs 32, 000 was issued to one Bullet bike and it was impounded for gross violation of rules. Apart from this, challans of Rs 10, 000 each were issued for two black film covered vehicles. Some Bullet drivers get the silencer of their Bullet bike modified and spread terror by bursting crackers. Orders have been given by SP Rajesh Kalia to take strict action against such bike drivers.

In this series, the team of Traffic SHO SI Rajkumar is continuously controlling such bullet bike drivers and issuing challan as per the rules. SP Rajesh Kalia appealed to the general public to follow all traffic rules. Making noises of firecrackers through the bike silencer can lead to an unpleasant accident. Bike drivers should not get their silencer modified and should not use pressure horn. The main objective of issuing challans is that people should be themselves aware about the traffic rules and follow the traffic rules.
