Police strict on bullet bike drivers producing firecrackers sound , violating traffic rules. SP
KAITHAL: In District Kaithal, those who violate traffic rules are being strictly monitored as per the instructions of SP Rajesh Kalia.
Those who violate traffic rules are being monitored and challaned by making separate teams of traffic police led by traffic SHO SI Rajkumar and the common man is also being made aware about traffic rules. Police spokesperson said that according to the directions of SP Rajesh Kalia, the district police has been monitoring the bullet with modified silencer. During this period, 128 Bullet Bikes have also been challaned during the month of February.
The spokesperson said that during the month of February, the traffic police strictly dealt with those who violated traffic rules. A total of 2970 challans were made including 86 impound vehicles in case of violating traffic rules by the traffic police during the month. During the last month, a fine of Rs 23 .37 lakh lakh was imposed by the police.The spokesperson said that the police have challaned vehicles including 743 those plying on wrong side , 189 driving without helmets, 412 over speeding, 258 without seat belt, 20 driving under influence of liquor, 3 using mobile phones, 10 found with black films on vehicles, 4 under age.
SP Rajesh Kalia said that the common people are negligent towards traffic rules while driving the vehicle due to which we risk lives of ourselves and our family and there is also a loss of life and property. The SP said that the police aim is not to issue challans but to save the life of the common man. Police is committed to reduce the loss of life and property in accidents on roads.
