A demand letter submitted by the factory workers to the Additional Deputy Commissioner

ZIRA (FEROZEPUR}:Due to the issue of polluted water, people of different villages and farmer unions have staged a dharna against the liquor factory located at village Mansoorwal Kalan near Zira. is closed Due to the closure of the factory, the employees are facing various problems. Therefore, a demand letter was handed over to Additional Deputy Commissioner Ferozepur Mr. Sagar Setia by the workers of the factory to start the work of the factory.
The workers working in the factory appealed to the protestors and said that they have been working in this factory for the past many years with which their livelihood is going on. He said that if the factory is closed, then their salary will stop and it will become difficult for them to live at home.
He said that there is already no industry here and many workers work in this factory whose household is running from it. He appealed to the protestors to withdraw their protest from here so that the work of the factory can resume. He said that they can solve this issue by sitting together, but the sit-in is affecting their livelihood.
He appealed to the protestors sitting in front of the factory to end their sit-in so that they can earn their livelihood by working inside the factory again.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Mr. Sagar Setia said that whatever the issue is, it is in the attention of the administration and the administration is working on it. He said that an order has been passed by the Hon'ble High Court that no protester should sit within 300 meters of the factory area. If there is any anger about the factory, the protesters can sit peacefully 300 meters away from the factory. He said that the protestors have been asked to protest 300 meters away from the factory, but they still protested in front of the factory.
