Upbeat over Lok Sabha results, Punjab Youth Congress set to play big role in party's win in next Vidhan Sabha poll: Mohit Mohindra

LUDHIANA:  The three-day Executive Committee meeting and training camp of Punjab Youth Congress (PYC) began today here with inaugural address by Krishna Allavaru, Joint Secretary IYC and in charge of Punjab. PPCC president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring also participated in the Executive meet hosted by PYC president Mohit Mohindra and state in charge Shinder Singh Mehar.

Krishna Allavaru while addressing the meet said that Youth Congress is an important organ of the AICC and plays major role in mobilising and channelising the youth energy in nation building. He hailed the efforts of Punjab Youth Congress leaders, made by them to secure victory in Lok Sabha elections, winning 7 out of 13 seats. He asserted that Congress party would return to power in Punjab in 2027 and same feat would be repeated in next Lok Sabha election.

PPCC president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring told the PYC leaders and workers to get ready for next Vidhan Sabha polls and actively participate in party's campaigns. He said that youth of Punjab have high hopes from Congress party and Youth Congress has major responsibility to play leading role in politics in state and also in national politics. He said that future leaders of party would emerge from the PYC cadre.

Mohit Mohindra President of PYC underlined the achievements of youth Congress leaders and workers in the Lok Sabha elections and said that their morale is high after registering victory in Lok Sabha poll. He said that his team was working towards victory of Congress party in next assembly elections in coordination with PPCC president.

PYC president said that the three-day Executive meeting and training camp was meant to draw strategy for mobilising youth to join PYC to make a forceful front against divisive and communal forces. He said that the PYC would play frontal role in exposing the misdeeds of AAP government in Punjab and fight for the rights of people. He said that youth Congress workers were enthusiastic to take up any challenge. He added that three day training camp was meant to review past performance and draw political map for the future.
