Tripat Rajinder Singh Bajwa Cabinet Minister Punjab hoisted the National Tricolor

GURDASPUR: Tripat Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Minister for Rural Development and Panchayats, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Dairy Development and Higher Education, Punjab.

The national flag was hoisted on the occasion of district level Independence Day celebrated at Navdeep Singh (Asok Chakra) Sports Stadium and its message was conveyed to the people of the district.

Addressing the residents of the district, the Cabinet Minister said. Mr. Bajwa said that today we were celebrating 75th Independence Day and on this occasion I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations to all. From time to time various movements and struggles started by Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev Sardar Kartar Singh Sarabha, Madan Lal Dhingra, Lala Lajpat Rai, Diwan Singh Kalepani, Shaheed Udham Singh and other freedom fighters. That is why today we are the people of an independent country. We are proud that Punjabis made the greatest sacrifices during the country's freedom struggle.
