PHAGWARA: Three Youths one of Goraya, One of Bilga and one of Phagwara village Kirpalpur who were deported from USA were received by the police and their relatives at Amritsar Airport late Saturday night. They have brought back by the cops to their residences and handed over to their families in wee hours on Sunday.
When This Correspondent visited the house of Pardeep Bassi in New Market Goraya on Sunday morning his old house was found locked. Social Activist MP Singh Goraya told This Correspondent that Pardeep was residing with his widow mother Surinder Kaur as his brother was settled in Canada. He told that Pardeep went to USA after paying Rs 45 Lac to a travel agent only few months back and was nabbed near Mexico while crossing the border. However Senior Superintendent of Police Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh told that a team of Phillaur Police headed by DSP Phillaur Sarwan Singh Bal handed over Pardeep to his mother Smt Surinder Kaur today.
SSP Khakh told that cops brought another deported youth Amit Badhan from Amritsar Airport and handed over him to his family in Bilga (Phillaur) on Sunday morning.
In PHAGWARA: - Senior Superintendent of the Police Gaurav Toora said the Satnampura Police team SHO Hardip Singh brought a Youth Ankush Kailey from Amritsar Airport and handed over the deported youth to his family members in village Kirpalpur near Phagwara around 6.30AM today.
When This correspondent visited the house of Ankush his father Hans Raj a laborer did not open his mouth and avoid to disclose any procedure adopted by him to send his son abroad. Even he said Ankush is not at home and went to Phagwara city to get medicine due to his unwell condition. He said that his close relative arranged to send his son Ankush to USA but he did not disclose about the amount spent to send Ankush to USA.
