IYC president Uday Bhanu Chib asks Punjab Youth to get ready for 2027 assembly polls

CHANDIGARH: Indian Youth Congress (IYC) president Uday Bhanu Chib today called upon the youth Congress volunteers of Punjab to get ready for the 2027 battle and oust the present regime of Aam Aadmi Party. He was speaking at Executive Committee meeting of Punjab Youth Congress, hosted by PYC president Mohit Mohindra.
The meeting was also attended by All India Congress Committee Secretary and Punjab InCharge Ravindra Dalvi, PPCC president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring and PYC in charge Rishendra Singh Mahar beside others.
Ravindra Dalvi expressed satisfaction over the functioning of the Youth Congress in Punjab and gave a call to youth in Punjab to fight for their rights and come forward to save the constitution of India from fascist forces. He said that Congress party had always stood for the moral values in politics and would fight against attempts by BJP to undermine the authority of constitution.
IYC president Uday Bhanu Chib said that Youth Congress was backbone of the Congress party and it leads from the front in every political battle. He said that Congress party had regained its strength in Punjab in the Lok Sabha elections by winning 7 seats. He said that it was crystal clear that people of Punjab were waiting for an opportunity to hand over command of state to Congress party. He said that each and every member of Youth Congress should work for victory of the party.
He strongly condemned the inhuman treatment being given to Youth deported from USA and blamed the Prime Minister Narender Modi for not raising the issue with US president Donald Trump. He said that it was shameful that our PM is scared of Trump. He asked the Youth Congress workers to raise issues of deportation, drugs and unemployment in public.
PPCC president Amarinder Singh Rajawarring said that they were sure that Congress would form the next government in Punjab. He said that Youth Congress had major role to garner support of youngsters. He said that youth in Punjab was fed up with false promises made by the Aam Aadmi Party. He said that Youth Congress always played leading role in the elections. He advised to take lessons from previous setbacks.
PYC president Mohit Mohidnra said that Youth Congress in Punjab was fully geared up to fight the political battle in 2027. He said that state unit was implementing all programmes of IYS in true spirit and reaching out to massed to spread the spirit of message of central party high command. He said that issues of unemployment and drugs were major issues. He added that 'Nasha Nahin, Rozgar Do' programme had received an overwhelming response. He also appealed the state executive members to hold mohalla level meetings and involve youth in the programmes given by IYS and AICC.
