The SGPC President held a meeting with the preachers of the Dharam Prachar Committee regarding the preparations for the function

AMRITSAR: The meeting of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee was held under the presidentship at Teja Singh Samundari Hall here today to discuss the preparations for the concluding Samagam on the eve of 400th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Jo.
The SGPC asked the Pracharaks (Preachers) of the Dharam Prachar Committee to inform the sangat about the function.

Advocate Dhami said that the 400th birth centenary of the ninth king would be commemorated.
He said that before the main function on April 21, Sri Akhand Path Sahib would be start on April 19 at Gurdwara Prakash Asthan Guru ka Mahal and Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib Diwan Hall, whose bhog would take place on April 21.
A Nagar Kirtan will be organized from Sri Akal Takht Sahib to Gurdwara Guru Ke Mahal on April 20 at 12 noon and a special kirtan darbar has been drawn at Gurdwara Guru ka Mahal on the same evening.
He said that at the main function on April 21 at Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib Diwan Hall, Singh Sahibs, prominent personalities of Sikh Panth would be present and famous ragis, dhadi jathas and narrators of Panth would connect the sangat with the life and teachings of Guru Sahib.
He appealed to the sangat to pay homage to Guru Sahib by participating in these ceremonies.
During the meeting, the senior vice president of the Shiromani Committee Raghujit Singh Virk, Member of Dharam Prachar Committee Bhai Ajaib Singh Abhayasi, Secretary Mahinder Singh Ahli, Additional Secretary Partap Singh, Sukhminder Singh, OSD Satbir Singh Dhami, Deputy Secretary, Dharam Prachar Committee. Tejinder Singh Padda, Incharge Shahbaz Singh, Kartar Singh etc. were present.
