The most 'slander' for any Sikh is the refutation of Guru Sahib in the Sikh Life Examination and Dictionary. To deny means to deny the Guru, to be aloof and to be ignorant. No Sikh can even dream of being aloof and obedient to the Guru
Sarchand Singh said that he is an Amritdhari Gursikh and has recently joined the political party BJP.
He said that the statement made by the SGPC President during a press conference on the occasion that the tendency of Sikhs to join BJP was wrong further strengthened his views.
He said that there were many Sikhs in the BJP whose unblemished personality and performance had made the Sikh community famous.
He further said that such as Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri who besides being a diplomat also served as India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Chairman and then President of the United Nations Security Council. Iqbal Singh Lalpura (who was honored by the Shiromani Committee as Shiromani Sahitkar from Sri Akal Takht Sahib in 2006) as the Chairman of the National Minorities Commission. Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, Member of Parliament and former Chairman, who has been serving as Honorary Secretary of Khalsa College Amritsar for a long time Can the National Minorities Commission Mr. Tarlochan Singh and Member of Parliament and former Union Minister SS Ahluwalia also be included in the list of deniers?
