The map of Batala will be changed in terms of development - MLA Sherry Kalsi

BATALA: Amansher Singh Sherri Kalsi, a young and progressive thinker of Batala, said that the map of the historical and religious city of Batala will be changed in terms of development and people will be left with no stone unturned in getting basic facilities. Today, he laid the foundation stone for widening and strengthening the bypass from Fatehgarh Chowk Batala to Amritsar Chowk Batala in the presence of various personalities of Batala city while advancing the series of development works at Batala city.

On this occasion, MLA Sherry Kalsi instructed the officials of the concerned department that the development work should be done with quality and update of the daily work done. He said that any kind of laxity or negligence in the development works will not be tolerated.

Talking about the development works, MLA Sherry Kalsi said that in the last two years comprehensive development work has been done in Batala constituency and special efforts have been made for the development and beautification of Batala city. He said that the road width has been done from Jalandhar Road Bypass to Hansli Bridge, from Usmanpur City (Batala Bypass) to Amritsar Bypass Road, from Gandhi Chowk to Dera Baba Nanak Bypass, keeping the traffic facility in mind. Apart from this, the construction work of Tehsil Complex is going on rapidly for the purpose of providing various facilities to the people under one roof.

He further said that Under the leadership of Bhagwant Singh Maan, the Chief Minister, the Punjab government has taken historic decisions in the public interest during its tenure and provided various facilities to the people including education, health, electricity.

On this occasion Harjot Singh XEN PWD Department, Chairman Sukhjinder Singh, Senior Leader Balbir Singh Bittu, SDO Nirmal Singh, Munish Kailash Foundry, Amarjit Singh, Steel Cut Wale, Kashmir Singh Wahala, Tavinder Singh, Teg Singh , Harpal Singh Khalsa, Inder Singh Nagpal, Ranjit Singh, Amandeep Singh Tinku including a large number of people were present.-
