GURDASPUR: The District Heritage Society Gurdaspur under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ishfaq has launched a special bus from the local Panchayat Bhawan to visit the historical and religious places of the district.
It may be recalled that under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner, special buses were started from Gurdaspur and Batala on January 31, 2021 but due to corona, the buses were banned but now special buses have been started again on the demand of pilgrims.
Dr Sham Singh, Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry Department, gave the green flag to bus.
Talking to media persons on the occasion, Dr. Mr. Sham Singh said that under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner special efforts were being made to develop the district as a tourist destination, due to which special buses were launched from Gurdaspur and Batala from the month of January. With the operation of these special buses, the residents of the district have been given a golden opportunity to visit the historical and religious places of their district.
Speaking on the occasion Gurdaspur residents Mahinderpal and Mata Jasbir Kaur said that they have come to visit the historical and religious places of the district and they are very happy to visit the historical and religious places of their district and also increase their knowledge. Has happened.
Free bus travel to Chhota Ghallughara Memorial Kahunwan and Chhota Ghallughara Gurdwara Sahib, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Gurdwara Sahib, Gurdas Nangal, Shiv Mandir Kalanor, Kartarpur Corridor (Darshan Sthal), Gurdwara Chohla Sahib and Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, Joda Chhatraan, Bawa Lal. Ji's temple was visited at Dhianpur. The resumption of special buses by the people of the district was much appreciated and the people are being encouraged to travel more.
