SGPC sent ration to 1830 Sikligar Sikh families in Rajasthan

AMRITSAR:The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) today dispatched a large quantity of ration to help 1830 needy Sikligar Sikh families living in Rajasthan.
While sending essential items to the Sikligar Sikh families of Rajasthan, the President of the Shiromani Committee Bibi Jagir Kaur said that the Shiromani Committee is constantly striving for the welfare of the Sikligar Sikh families who are an important part of the Sikh community and work is being done for their welfare from time to time.
She said that in order to make the Sikhligar Sikh children self reliant in various states, the SGPC was managing the school fees and rations had been sent to the needy families today as per the demand from Rajasthan.

According to the SGPC President, the rations would be distributed among the Sikligar Sikh families living in Hanumangarh, Tehelwada, Alwar, Khairthal, Sri Ganganagar, Musani, Kishangarh, Bharatpur, Jaipur and other places in Rajasthan.

Bibi Jagir Kaur informed that the SGPC was already assisting the children of Sikligar Sikhs in their education under which fees were being sent to the children studying in Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Adhra Pradesh etc.

She said that Rajasthan was also home to a large number of Sikligar Sikh families for whose help the All India Rajasthan Sikligar Sikh Sabha Alwar had demanded rations for the needy.
She said that the SGPC has always been supportive of the Sikhs of Sikligar and was committed to the future as well
