AMRITSAR: Shiromani Gurdawara Parbhandak Committee (SGPC) controlled by SAD(Badal) today refused to offer Siropa to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and former IG Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh when they came to pay obeisance at Golden Temple. They also went to Durgiana Mandir where management presented them siropa.
The Sikh quarters criticised the action of SGPC and accused SGPC president Bibi Jagior Kaur for playing politics in religious place. The Durgiana temple amnagement presented siropa and also organised reception for AAP leaders.
Some persons allegedly sponsored by BJP have also organised a protest against Kejriwal. They were raising slogan "Kejriwal go back. Delhi sambhaloo phir Punjab aao".
