AMRITSAR: Safar-e-Shahadat Virsa Sahbar Pran-e- Padal nine days journey is going to start on December 20 at 10:00 am from Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib after Ardas. Prof. Gurinder Singh Manmanke is doing all the arrangements for it. Since 2017, he has successfully trekked to various religious places on foot.
After reviewing the preparations for the walking journey, sharing the route-plan with the journalists, he said that there will be different stages of Safar-e-Shahadat walking journey and during this time, the painful and sensitive history full of martyrdoms of this period, which stands on the banks of the river.
Become familiar with the congregation and the general publicwill be doneIts main stages are Mallia, Baba Bakala Sahib, Kartarpur, Phagwara, Guraya, Phillaur, Nilopul (Samrala) Machiwara, Chamkaur Sahib, Murinda and Fatehgarh Sahib. He said that while traveling on foot from these places, he will be a part of the important events to be held at Fatehgarh Sahib on December 29 with his colleagues and followers.
He appealed to all Nanak Naam Lewa Sangats and other people to be a part of this Safar-e-Shahadat-Shahadat with an open heart.
He said that those who want to be a part of this walking journey are also welcome. All the things needed during the journey have been arranged by the Sangat with great heart in different ways. He said that those who cannot be a part of the journey are also appealed to during this Safar-e-Shahadat-Shahadat to adapt their daily life in such a way that the memory of the history of this period leaves an imprint in their minds. Let them go and become fully devoted to the Guru.
He said that it is the duty of all of us to bring this history to the masses. The sole purpose of his pilgrimage is to dedicate himself to the memory of the martyr and to know the history of this period himself and to inform others. He said that during this period due to dedication to the Guru, the dignities will be taken care of by the Sangat. At this time, he also informed about the major historical events of that time.
He said that today we are facing various social evils due to the distance from the heritage and rich heritage of the Sikh community. He said that if we want to make our society healthy, then we have to live a practical life by connecting with our heritage and following the path given by the Gurus.
He said that as soon as we get connected or familiar with Sikh history, we naturally feel the desire to do something or sacrifice for the society, country and religion. He said that he and his partner are going to dedicate themselves to this martyrdom week. At this time, Dr. KP Singh, Alambir Singh Sandhu, Dharamveer Sarin, Kamalpreet Singh and Arun Sharma were also present with him.
