CHANDIGARH: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today decided to reconstitute its Patiala Rural unit and appoint a single President.
Disclosing this, senior leader Balwinder Singh Bhundur said presently there were two Presidents of the Patiala unit due to which there were problems in coordination. He said keeping this in mind both Mr Sukhwinder Singh Rajla and Jarnail Singh Kartarpur had been divested of their responsibility. He said the new President of the unit would be announced shortly.
