CHANDIGARH: The Kharar police today arrested two miscreants who attacked and broke the window panes of a bus of Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) on March 18 last.
The two accused have been identified as mastermind Gagandeep Singh a taxi driver and Hardip Singh a resident of Bhatha Sahib in Rupnagar district presently living in Ballomajra village. Gagandeep Singh is resident of Fazilka living in Mohali.
The culprits had stopped the HRTC bus near Kharar flyover and broke the window panes to revenge removal of flags of Sant Bhindrawala in Himachal Pradesh. Gagandeep told police that he saw the Himachal incident on social media and decided to attack the bus. Police is interrogating the accused to get more information.
