AMRITSAR: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has strongly condemned the inappropriate behavior of b Giani Raghbir Singh, the Chief Granthi of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, at Delhi International Airport.
He said that the misbehavior meted out by Air India employees to a highly respected and religiously important personality of the Sikh community is disappointing.
Advocate Dhami said that this matter is not just about misbehavior with an individual, but also disrespect for the Sikh religion and its respected personality.
He demanded an immediate investigation into the incident from the Union Aviation Minister and said that strict action should be taken against the employees who misbehaved.
He said that it is also important that the airline of India does not behave in such a way with any passenger in the future that would prove to be shameful for the country.
He said that the Shiromani Committee has ordered the in-charge of the Sikh Mission Delhi to raise this matter with the authorities and take other necessary steps.
