AMRITSAR: Officials of Yuva Unstoppable, a Gujarat-based NGO, who paid obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, were felicitated by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) officials.
The Ahmedabad-based NGO is providing various facilities to students in government schools in several states.
After paying obeisance at the holy shrine here, the representative of the youth unstoppable Mr. Amitabh Shah and others reached the office of the Shiromani Committee.
Partap Singh, OSD to the President of the Shiromani Committee. Satbir Singh Dhami, Manager of Sri Darbar Sahib. Sulukhan Singh Bhangali and Deputy Secretary. Kulwinder Singh Ramdas conferred Guru Blessings on him.
On this occasion Mr. Amitabh Shah said that he has paid obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib to seek blessings from Guru Sahib for providing services in the society.
He said that the founder of this NGO Jashandeep Singh, who is serving as a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy.
Giving information about the activities of the NGO, he said that at present the organization was providing various facilities in the government schools of 18 states.
These include services such as preparing bathrooms as needed, managing drinking water, cleaning hands and cleaning utensils used for food. Apart from this, creating smart classrooms is also an initiative of the organization.
He informed that till date about 3000 schools were being constructed and it was spread over 18 states including Punjab.
On this occasion the OSD of the President of the Shiromani Committee Satbir Singh Dhami lauded the work of NGO 'Youth Unstoppable'. On this occasion in-charge Mr. Shahbaz Singh, Information Officer Amritpal Singh, NGO representatives Mrs. Rashmi, Mrs. Inderjit Kaur, Mrs. Kuldeep Kaur, Mrs. Sunita etc. were present.
