Nehru Youth Center Ferozepur organizes Fit India race

FEROZEPUR:The Department of Government of India, Nehru Yuva Kendra Ferozepur (Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India) organized the Fit India Independence Race dedicated to the Amrit Mahotsav of the 75th Independence Day of the country. The program was organized by Sardar Lakhwinder Singh District Youth Officer Ferozepur and Manjit Singh Bhullar Accounts and Program Officer Faridkot Dr. Rameshwar Singh, P. D Sharma, President and members of Youth Clubs from different villages and National Youth Volunteers and all the staff of the school contributed.

The rally started from the Shaheed Bhagat Singh meeting hall and the children sang the national anthem. Manjit Singh Bhullar administered the oath of allegiance to the children and youth club of Fit India Run 2.00 and shed light on the biography of Shaheed Bhagat Singh ji. Lakhwinder Singh Ji informed that Fit India would be organized in 744 districts of the country from 13th August 2021 to 2nd October 2021. Simultaneously, a rally was organized in 75 districts today. In which District Ferozepur was selected by the Government of India for the Fit India Rally. On this occasion Rameshwar Singh was honored with National Award. Tarsem Channa, Manjit Singh, PD Sharma and other guests were also honored. Mahesh Wastav Supervisor, Suraj Manni, Sandeep Kamboj, Ram Chandra, Radhe Sham National Youth Volunteer gave their full support.
