Jagir Kaur discussed the issues of Sikhs around the world as well as the preservation of Sikh heritage

AMRITSAR: Bibi Jagir Kaur, President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, discussed the issues of Sikhs around the world as well as the preservation of Sikh heritage during the online meeting with officials of the Global Sikh Council.

The council members advised to sit in peace and take appropriate decision regarding the building which came to light during the kaar seva in the corridor of Sri Darbar Sahib.

The Global Sikh Council is an organization of Sikhs from 30 countries around the world, working to uplift the Sikh community globally.

The members of the Council elaborated on the global achievements of the Sikhs as well as the difficulties encountered from time to time.

She was of the opinion that old buildings connect us to their origin and have historical significance so it is important to take care of them.

She said that this issue should not be raised but work should be done for its simplification.
