If Pakistan have any difficulty in repairing Sikh shrine, it should handover Sewa to SGPC: Jagir Kaur

AMRITSAR: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Bibi Jagir Kaur has written a letter to the Pakistan government and urged to repair Gurdwara Nanaksar Sahib built in the memory of Sri Guru Nanak Dev situated in Chakk Fateh Bhinder village in Daska tehsil of Sialkot district.

The SGPC president has urged the Pakistan government to pay special attention towards the maintenance of Gurdwara Nanaksar Sahib in Sialkot district, by getting the shrine repaired immediately.

In a press release issued by its headquarters here today , SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur said that it has come to her notice through the medium of newspaper that, "The roofs inside Gurdwara Nanaksar Sahib building are collapsing and it is important to repair them immediately. The religious shrines are a guide for the people to walk on the path of life, rights and truth." She said it is important to pay special attention towards the maintenance of these buildings", said Bibi Jagir Kaur. Bibi Jagir Kaur said,

"If the Pakistan government has any difficulty in the Sikh shrine, then the service of this shrine should be handed over to the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar. The SGPC is ready to do Sewa (voluntary service) of this place."
