GURDASPUR:Under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Muhammad Ishfaq, the 'Har Ghar Tricolor' campaign, which has been conducted from August 13 to 15, is being enthusiastically participated by the residents of the district and national flags are being displayed in houses and markets. The tricolor is swinging .
Speaking about the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Muhammad Ishfaq appealed to the residents of the district to hoist the national tricolor at every house from 13 to 15 August . He said that the national tricolor is a symbol of our freedom and prosperity and we are proud to be citizens of India . He said that it is our first duty to remember the brave warriors who made sacrifices for the sake of the country and as many events should be held in their memory . He thanked the people for their full support and enthusiastic participation in the 'Tricolor Rally' held in the city of Gurdaspur yesterday and said that it is our primary duty to respect the national tricolor . He also appealed to the residents of the district to maintain full respect for the national tricolor while hoisting the national tricolor .
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Paramjit Kaur, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) said that the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign which is being conducted from 13 to 15 August and the district administration has organized various centers in the entire district to provide the people with the national tricolor. Special efforts have been made to worship the national flag to the people through various departments . The residents of the district can buy the national tricolor by spending only Rs.25 and people have shown full enthusiasm to buy the Rastri tricolor . He said that people can buy National Tricolor from all BDPOs, EOs, major markets of cities and towns of the district, office of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Gurdaspur etc.
