Five Sikh high priests inspired the entire Sikh world that every Sikh should prepare simple langar at the time of Antim Ardas

AMRITSAR: Five  Sikh  high priests  have directed to Giani  Iqbal Singh former Jathedar   Takht  Sri Patna Sahib he  should refrain from participating in Panthic activities and events. Their Panthic services are banned.

This decision  was, taken at a meeting of  Five Sikh  high priests  under the  chairmanship  of Giani Kuldeep Singh officiating  Jathedar  Akal Takht  here today.

Giani Iqbal Singh, the former Jathedar of Takht Sri Harmandar Patna Sahib, was earlier he was declared Tankhiya by Sri Akal Takht Sahib on 15 July 2024, according to Resolution No. 04, for the mistakes he had made in the past, in which he had forgiven the mistake, but even after that, complaints are being received against him at Sri Akal Takht Sahib and very serious allegations have been made. Therefore, until he appears at Sri Akal Takht Sahib and presents his case and is cleared of the allegations, he should refrain from participating in Panthic activities and events. Their Panthic services are banned.

In a resolution five Sikh high priests inspired the entire Sikh world that every Sikh should prepare simple langar at the time of Antim Ardas and observe the original spirit and traditions of Guru Ke Langar. Guru Sahib Ji has decreed that:- “Let the love of the mother be so that the child may eat. Let the love of the mother not be so that the child may be saved. Let the love of the Guru be so that the Guru Sikh may be saved.1” Therefore, this expenditure should be spent on helping the needy children.

In another resolution the meeting of Panj Singh Sahibs decided that the Khalsa Creation Day is being celebrated on 13 April 2025, and Special Gurmat celebrations and large-scale Amrit Sanchar arrangements should be made on this day all over the world. Amrit Sanchar is also being conducted at the Takht Sahibs, the Sangat is increasing in number.

The five Singh Sahibs unanimously appreciated the services rendered by the Head Granthi of Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, Giani Harpal Singh, in propagating the unique martyrdom of the sons of the Dashmesh Patshah Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji through Safar-e-Shahadat. They will be honored by Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
In a separate resolution the meeting of Panj Singh Sahibs unanimously decided that every Gursikh, wherever he performs his daily routine, is encouraged to revive the tradition of reciting stories related to Guru Ithias and Sikh history for half an hour before going to bed in his home so that children can have maximum knowledge of Sikh values and love for Sikhism can increase.

Along with Jathedar Kuldeep Singh Gargaj, the Chief Granthi Singh Sahib of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Malkit Singh, the Chief Granthi Singh Sahib of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Giani Jagtar Singh, the Chief Granthi Singh Sahib of Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib Giani Joginder Singh and the Panj Pyara Giani Mangal Singh from Sri Akal Takht Sahib were present in the meeting.
