AMRITSAR: Five members Committee which was constituted by Akal Takht met Sri Akal Takth Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh on Sunday and submitted a report on the new recruitment of Shiromani Akal Dal (SAD).
The seven-member committee was formed by Sri Akal Takht to supervise the reorganization of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD).
While talking to media persons, Akali Dal leader Gurpartap Singh Wadala said that the members of the Executive Committee had also reached the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib the other day and during that time they also discussed the Gurdwara Act 1925.
Gurpartap Singh Wadala said that Akal Takht Sahib is the throne of God for which no one interferes with Akal Takht Sahib and the All India Gurdwara Act 1925.
He said that the Gurdwara Act 1925 was made for the maintenance of Guru Ghars and that is the duty of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee. But Akal Takht does not come under its purview. And what has been said by the members of the Interim Committee is very wrong.
He said that Akal Takht is higher than the throne of Delhi, now I said that Akal Takht Sahib is for the entire nation and the entire Panth and the entire Panth accepts it and Akal Takht Sahib is not of the Shiromani Committee and the Hukamnama that comes from Akal Takht Sahib, the entire world accepts that Hukamnama and the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee had a big mistake.
He shared that during the meeting Giani Raghbir Singh and Jathedar Sri Akal Takht also spoke the resignation of Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami should consider it now.
"He should also withdraw his resignation and work for the SGPC and should also play his important role in the seven-member committee.
The report of the meeting held by the seven-member committee yesterday has been submitted to Giani Raghbir Singh. This committee will work according to the orders issued by the Jathedar Akal Takht, ".
He said that Giani Raghbir Singh has assured that the decisions taken on December 2 will be implemented without fail.
