AMRITSAR: The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee along with the sectarian parties today celebrated the 31st death anniversary of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Executive Jathedar Singh Sahib Bhai Gurdev Singh Kaunke here at Gurdwara Rakabganj Sahib in New Delhi with great reverence and respect.
Bhai Kaunke's family was very present in the event. In which Bhai Kaunke's religious wife Mata Gurmail Kaur, son Hari Singh, main witness Darshan Singh Hathur etc. Kaunke's family were present, according to press release issued here today.
Addressing the function on this occasion, Committee President Harmeet Singh Kalka and General Secretary Sardar Jagdeep Singh Kahlon thanked the family members of Bhai Kaunke, his wife and son and all the Panthak personalities on reaching the function.

On this occasion, according to the Panthak decision, a five-member team of lawyers has been formed to seek justice for the murder of Bhai Kaunke, the chairman of which was the former Additional Advocate General of Punjab, Advocate Chinderpal Singh Brar. Advocate Jaspreet Singh Roy, Advocate Jasdeep Singh Dhillon, Advocate Darshan Singh Malwai and Advocate Sanjeev Gupta were included in the team along with them.
Sardar Kalka and Sardar Kahlon said that a delegation of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee and sect personalities including this five-member team will soon meet with the Chief Minister of Punjab to rescue Bhai Kaunke's killer police officers and save them in their bosom.
