AMRITSAR: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has been accused of using abusive language in social media posts against the Sikh community. FIR lodged at Khar police station .
A member of Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara Committee headed by Bhai Jaspal Singh Sidhu, Chairman, Supreme Council New Mumbai Gurdwara, Amarjit Singh Sandhu, son of Kulwant Singh, resident of Mulud, Mumbai, filed a religious complaint against Kangana in NIR No. 253. Section 295A has been enacted to provoke emotions. Earlier, members of the Sikh community staged a protest at Kangana's residence. In order to maintain law and order, the police have registered a case against Kangana. He said that Kangana had used bad language not only against Sikhs but also against Maharashtra Chief Minister Uday Thackeray. An official of Khar police station has registered a case against Kangana after investigating the complaint. Just yesterday, a delegation led by Shiromani Akali Dal leader and Delhi Committee President Manjinder Singh Sirsa had lodged a complaint against Ranaut and demanded action against Kangana, according to a press release issued by Mr Sarchand Singh a leader if Sikh Federation here today.
