AMRITSAR: Jaswinder Singh Gill, former Vice President, Gurdwara Nanak Mata Sahib, Uttarakhand, today said that in the case of violation of the code of conduct at Gurdwara Nanak Mata Sahib, A letter has been written to Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara acknowledging the real Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib.
In his letter he said that he had no involvement in the case of violation of code of conduct at Guru Nanak Mata Sahib, but as a humble Sikh he also admits the mistake.
He appealed to Jathedar Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara that whatever order of the Singh Sahibs in the matter would be gladly accepted.
Mr. Gill said that he has forgiven his mistake by appearing before the Sixth Patshah Guru Hargobind Ji on August 12, 2021 at Sri Akal Takht Sahib. But nothing can be accepted about Badal Jathedar Harpreet Singh and his associates.
Addressing Bhai Hawara, he said that this is the order of the sixth Guru ji, may you be the glory of the Sikh Panth.
The Panth, through the Sarbatt Khalsa, has elected him Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. "My head bows to you, whatever service you render. Jaye Das will gladly accept.";he said
He also said that the team sent by the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib under the leadership of Giani Malkit Singh had resigned from the management committee quoting Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib and accusing him of dyeing his beard. As a sign of remorse, he put 100 spheres in it and prayed for forgiveness, which he accepted immediately.
He raised the question that what was repented by quoting the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib at that time does not fall under the maryada?
He said that the accusation of dyeing his beard was not true as he did not insult the hair after taking Amrit. He also said that he respects Sri Akal Takhat Sahib like every Gursikh.
He continued to get the opportunity to make jails and make sacrifices for the glory of the Panth, which he has been performing as a service and duty.
