AMRITSAR: The death anniversary of Bhai Satwant Singh and Bhai Kehar Singh observed at Gurdwara Jhanda Bunga Sahib in Sri Darbar Sahib complex here today.
After the bhog of Akhand Path, Bhai Subhdeep Singh, the ragi of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, joined the sangat with Gurbani Kirtan. The prayer was offered by Bhai Prem Singh and the Holy Hukamnama Singh Sahib was heard by Giani Gurminder Singh.
It may be mentioned that Bhai Satwant Singh was the security guard at the time of killing of Indra Gandhi on October 31 1984.Bhai Beant Singh was killed on the spot after assassination of Indra Gandhi.
During the function, Bhai Satwant Singh's brother Bhai Waryam Singh and others were given Guru Blessings by Singh Sahib Giani Gurminder Singh, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee member Bhai Manjit Singh Bhurakohna and Advocate Bhagwant Singh Sialka.
On this occasion Additional Secretary of the Shiromani Committee Mr. Sukhdev Singh Bhurakohna, Paramjit Singh Saroya, Partap Singh, Giani Malkit Singh, Chief Granthi of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Gurinder Singh Mathrewal, Superintendent Malkit Singh Bahirwal, Manager Mr. Baghel Singh, Deputy Manager Nishan Singh, Former Additional Manager Sangats including Harjinder Singh, Bhai Jarnail Singh Sakhira, Bhai Beant Singh Khiala were present.
