NAWANSHAHR: Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kanwardeep Kaur reviewed the preparations of state level function at Khatkar Kalan
where the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will pay his homage at the ancestral village of Shaheed–E-Azam Bhagat Singh on martyrdom day tomorrow.
During their visit to the museum, DC and SSP also convened a meeting with the officials at the site and issued directions to make adequate arrangements for the state level event.
They said that the Chief Minister would also visit the ancestral house of Shaheed–E-Azam Bhagat Singh.
They told the officials to make elaborate arrangements so that people can also pay tributes to Martyrs Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev who got martyred on March 23, 1931 without any kind of inconvenience.
They also asked the officials to ensure adequate parking and security arrangements for the smooth flow of the traffic.
They added that the life and philosophy of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Shaheed Sukhdev and Shaheed Rajguru would always remain a source of inspiration for the people.
Prominent among present on the occasion included SPs Manvinderbir Singh, Sarbjit Singh Bahia, SDM Navneet Kaur Bal, Assistant Commissioner (G) Deepankar Garg and others.
