Amarinder Singh Raja Warring slams education model of AAP

Expressed concern over fate of Baba Hira Singh Bhattal Institute employees
SANGRUR: The uncertain fate of more than a hundred former employees of the Baba Hira Singh Bhattal Institute of Engineering and Technology remains a matter of concern as they continue their protest against the government's decision to close the college, now spanning 105 days.

Established in 2005 during the Congress rule, the institute aimed to foster the advancement of technical education in the Sangrur district and its surroundings.

Addressing the media, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring remarked, "The Aam Aadmi Party, upon assuming power in Punjab, highlighted their accomplishments in the education sector in New Delhi. Despite their purported successes, we have witnessed a decline in the quality of public education in our state."

He went on to state, "The promised 'badlaav' by the AAP government is yet to materialize. Despite touting their Delhi education model, the closure of existing government institutes was conveniently omitted from their narrative. This government's performance has been a notable failure."

Expressing dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs, the PPCC Chief commented, "The closure of this institution has shattered the aspirations of countless students, employees, and the people of Lehragaga. The shutdown poses a significant obstacle to providing quality education to students from remote areas."

PPCC Chief Raja Warring emphasized, "It is imperative for the state government to proactively address this situation and encourage the youth to remain in our state. The current exodus of our youth abroad is a direct result of the lack of quality education and opportunities in Punjab. Rather than closing educational institutions, there is a pressing need to establish new vocational colleges, fostering an environment that motivates the youth to pursue education within our state. I urge Bhagwant Mann to redirect his efforts towards the welfare of the state and its people, moving beyond misleading advertisements."
