AMRITSAR: Giani Raghbir Singh Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib has strongly condemned the racist threats to kill Tanmanjit Singh Dhesi in UK.
He said that the Sikh nation is a nation that seeks the good of all and wants world peace and the entire nation is proud of Sikhs like Tanmanjit Singh Dhesi, who always raise their voices for world peace and human rights with courage and fearlessness.
Giani Raghbir Singh said in a statement that the people of the world have seen the Sikh work well in the form of service to humanity done by the Sikh volunteers during the Corona period and wars in different parts of the world. Now Sikhs are wishing for eternal world peace by taking guidance from the principles of their religion even against the destruction of humanity that is happening during the war between Israel and Hamas.
He said that Tanmanjit Singh Dhesi's response to the painful deaths of thousands of innocent civilians and children during the war between Gaza and Israel and the UK's determination to establish bilateral peace and stability. The voices raised in the Parliament are not being met by the racist and violence-supporting forces, due to which they have been threatened with death.
He said that no kind of intimidation and threats can make the Sikhs away from their principles and the entire Sikh community is with Tanmanjit Singh Dhesi.
The Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib said that now that the United Nations has also warned that the Gaza-Israel war may create a major food crisis for the world in the future, then all the countries of the world should immediately stop this war. Need to be diligent. All the countries who want eternal peace and prosperity in the world should support Tanmanjit Singh Dhesi and by placing the issue of threats to kill him with the United Nations, they should expose the evil forces before the world who are destroying peace. They are enemies of peace and humanity.
