AMRITSAR: On the occasion of its 77th anniversary on September 13, All India Sikh Students Federation will hold a prayer function at Sri Akal Takhat Sahib for the success of Kisan Sangharsh and pay homage to the departed farmers.
The announcement was made by the Patron of All India Sikh Students Federation Mr. Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad and President Mr. Bhai Jagroop Singh Cheema after discussions with the key representatives of the Federation here today. The Federation leader said that during the illustrious history of the All India Sikh Students Federation, many youths from the platform of the Federation had given martyrdom against the tyranny of the Central Government and many had been jailed during this time. Many federation leaders were assassinated due to ideological differences in the Sikh struggle.
The Federation feels that our comrade Bhai Harminder Singh Sandhu has been martyred. Bhai Sukhwant Singh Akanwali, Bhai Bhupinder Singh Logia, Bhai Chamkaur Singh Rode, Bhai Gurinder Singh Bhola, Bhai Sarabjit Singh Ropar, Bhai Baldev Singh Hothia, Bhai Jagwinder Singh Qila Raipur, Bhai Sukhraj Singh Ratol, Bhai Jarnail Singh Vaia, Bhai A picture of Hardial Singh Harike, Bhai Jarnail Singh Botiawal should be displayed in the museum.
