AMRITSAR:Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, President, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Harbans Singh Ghumman, a former member of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and former MLA.
Advocate Dhami said that Jathedar Harbans Singh played a leading role in Panthic affairs by participating in every Panthic front. As a member of the Shiromani Committee, he rendered remarkable services.
He said that the departure of Jathedar from the world was a great loss to the Panth and family.
He shared his grief with the family of Jathedar Harbans Singh and prayed at the feet of the departed soul.
Jathedar Harbans Singh Ghumman was cremated at Ghumman Kalan in Gurdaspur district.
On this occasion the President of the Shiromani Committee Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami called on his OSD Satbir Singh Dhami paid homage to Jathedar Harbans Singh by laying a wreath on his body.
Meanwhile, the senior vice president of the Shiromani Committee Raghujit Singh Virk, Junior Vice President Principal Surinder Singh, General Secretary Jathedar Karnail Singh Panjoli expressed their grief over the demise of Jathedar Harbans Singh Ghumman and extended their heartfelt condolences to the family.
